Notes From Green Thumb Farm

Fall is upon us. Our Summer crops will be coming to an end soon as our cooler weather crops begin - Tatsoi, pak-choi, bok choi, broccoli raab, arugula, red and green mustards, kales of varied types, broccoli, cauliflowers and more in the next two months. Beets, carrots, leeks and a few more tomotoes, summer squashs and some winter squash and beans will all be arriving at our pick-up sites.

Also this fall our pumpkin picking farm tour will happen on Saturday, October 17th at 9:30 AM, 11 AM, 12:30 PMĀ and 2PM. Reservations are required as it is a riding tour on a wagon pulled by a tractor. There will be a $1 charge for the pumpkin picking as we do not grow these but purchase from a local farmer mostly for school groups who tour the farm in the fall.

Call (631) 726-1900 to reserve your spot. Please call between 9AM and 5PM only. This is the last chance to visit the farm this year and we hope all can come out to see us.

Organically yours,

Farmer Bill
