This documentary, filmed over three decades, follows the life of a misunderstood farmer who is criticized and ostracized for being different in a time when anything out of the norm was scorned. Farmer John prevailed even after failing again at an attempt to restart his farm. It was not until a third try and the decision to become an organic farmer that his farm became a true success through participation in a CSA.
