Over 60 shares were successfully distributed today in the first distribution of the 2006 season for Hellgate CSA. Members arrived between 5:30pm and 7:30pm this evening to meet with the CSA coordinators and other members. The first share included freshly picked strawberries, rhubarb, leeks, red leafy lettuce, and flowering chives.

Chatting among members, and swapping of the organic veggies was seen as people got to know each other. Several community members also stopped by to check it all out.

The CSA is rapidly approaching its maximum capacity for members for the 2006 season, so if you're thinking about joining now is the time to act.
